On August 14, the 2026 Beijing Brain Conference opened at the Zhongguancun Life Science Park in Changping, Beijing. More than 800 experts, scholars, and researchers from over 200 research institutions, universities, and related organizations at home and abroad gathered in Beijing to join this grand event.

The three-day conference, under the theme "From Molecules to Circuits: New Pathways Toward Brain Disorder Intervention," focuses on multi-scale mechanistic dissection and translational application, and features six thematic academic report sessions: Neurodevelopmental Disorders: From Genetics to Mechanisms; Neural Mechanisms of Psychiatric Disorders; Neurodegenerative Diseases and Brain Aging; Neural Injury and Systems Disorders; Brain-Computer Interfaces and Neural Engineering; and Innovative Therapeutic Strategies for Brain Disorders, together with a Young Scientist Forum.

On the opening day, 14 domestic and international speakers delivered a rich and varied program of academic reports, sharing the latest research findings and key discoveries in areas such as neurodevelopmental disorders and the neural mechanisms of psychiatric disorders, presenting attendees with a high-level academic feast.

Over the next two days, another 34 speakers will take the stage in succession to share their teams' latest research progress and innovative achievements in the field of brain science.Meanwhile, to further promote academic exchange and the exchange of ideas among young research talents, the conference has specially arranged an outstanding-achievement poster session, and will select six "Best Poster" and two "Best Talk" awards, to encourage young researchers to showcase innovative results and exchange academic ideas.
