Technician Opportunities: Join the Brain-Computer Interface Laboratory at CIBR!
Responsibilities:
1. Mouse Breeding Management
Proficiently carry out daily breeding, cage separation, record-keeping, and health monitoring of mice and rats to ensure stable colony management in the animal facility.
2. Genotyping (PCR & Electrophoresis)
Independently perform tissue sampling, prepare PCR reaction mixtures, conduct electrophoresis, and interpret genotyping results.
3. Mouse Brain Stereotaxic Surgery
Master or be willing to systematically learn mouse brain stereotaxic injection, implantation, and related techniques (training can be provided after onboarding).
4. General Laboratory Support
Assist with other routine laboratory tasks as assigned, including sample processing, data organization, equipment maintenance, etc.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, medicine, animal science, or a related field preferred.
2. Detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and team spirit.
3. Interest in animal experiments and neuroscience research is a plus.
