On March 8, 2026, Miao Jing's Laboratory, in collaboration with Jiahui Zhao's team from the Department of Dermatology at Peking University First Hospital, published an online article in Allergy entitled "Epidermal PAR2-TRPV3-IL-33 Signaling Promotes Mast Cell Recruitment and Sensory Nerve-Mast Cell Interactions in Atopic Dermatitis."

The study was the first to elucidate the specific mechanism by which the transient receptor potential channel TRPV3, coupled with the G protein–coupled receptor PAR2, regulates cutaneous neuroimmune responses.
