Cultivating the Fertile Soil of Brain Science Education, Nurturing Innovative Young Talents with a Global Vision — A Review of Outstanding Graduates and Excellent Dissertation Achievements at the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing

In the height of summer, the torch of learning is passed on from one generation to the next. Since the launch of its joint graduate training program, the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing (hereinafter referred to as “the Institute”) has always placed talent cultivation at the core of its mission. Relying on an international research platform and a high-caliber faculty team, the Institute focuses on cutting-edge directions in brain science to nurture innovative young talents.


From June 2023 to June 2026, the Institute has graduated a total of 59 doctoral students and 6 master’s students. Current and graduated students have published more than 70 SCI papers, including over 40 papers in high-impact factor journals, demonstrating a steady improvement in educational outcomes.


In recent years, a number of graduate students have been recognized as outstanding graduates at the Beijing municipal level and by partner universities, and several dissertations have been honored as university-level outstanding doctoral dissertations — a collective showcase of the Institute’s quality in talent cultivation.
