Research in the Rao Laboratory is focused on Molecular Neurobiology，taking interdisciplinary approaches of molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, chemical analysis, electrophysiology and modern optical imaging to study molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying biological processes in the nervous and related systems.

Position: Research Assistant

Job Description:

1. Mouse colony management, establishment of disease models, and phenotypic analysis related to corresponding research projects.

2. Assist in managing laboratory reagents and consumables to support daily laboratory operations.

3. Carry out other tasks as assigned by the lab.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology or a related discipline.

2.Hands-on experience with mouse animal experiments, including but not limited to stereotaxic injection, catheter implantation, perfusion, dissection, and behavioral tests. Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in cellular, molecular, or biochemical experiments.

3.Demonstrates meticulous and careful work habits, strong hands-on skills, and excellent learning ability.

Commitment to at least one year of stable work.
