Research in the Rao Laboratory is focused on Molecular Neurobiology，taking interdisciplinary approaches of molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, chemical analysis, electrophysiology and modern optical imaging to study molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying biological processes in the nervous and related systems.

Position: Research Assistant

Job Description:

1. Culture, quality control, and phenotype analysis of brain organoids in alignment with relevant research projects.

2. Assist in managing related reagents and consumables, and maintain the daily operation of the culture room.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or a related field.

2. At least six months of experience in cell culture; preference will be given to candidates with experience in hESC or iPSC culture (experience in brain organoid culture is not required).

3. Candidates proficient in qPCR, western blot, and immunofluorescence imaging are preferred.

4. Basic proficiency in English reading and writing.

5. Meticulous, well-organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and good learning ability.

6. Able to commit to a stable work plan for at least one year and open to a flexible work schedule.
