Synthesis Assistant (Organic Synthesis) Opportunities:Join the Medicinal Chemistry Center at CIBR.
About Medicinal Chemistry Center (MCC)
The MCC is one of the 11 core facilities of CIBR, located at the west end of the 6th floor in Building B of CIBR Phase II, with approximately 350 square meters of laboratory space. The lab is equipped with 23 fume hoods, including 2 walk-in fume hoods.
MCC provides in-depth knowledge of modern concepts in drug discovery and medicinal chemistry technology, including structure-activity relationships (SAR) of CNS bioactive molecules, rational CNS drug design and evaluation, and the preclinical and early clinical drug discovery process, which includes target identification, hit and lead optimization, candidate selection, preclinical development, and Phase I clinical studies planning. MCC also covers modern concepts in drug discovery, such as property- and structure-based drug design, fragment-based drug discovery, in silico methods, and ADME-T principles.
